Good Morning,

I don't think that I have been up this early in a long long time! I headed off to Logan Airport to catch an 8:20 flight to London, than it's off to India on a 9:20pm flight! It's going to be a long day of travelling, but I'm really looking forward to meeting the other students and medical staff at the program site.

So Bon Voyage....My next entry will be from the other side of the planet!

I am travelling to Mumbai, India for the month of July to learn about clinical infectious diseases and public health. I will be working in various hospitals throughout the city observing common infectious and tropical diseases that affect this region, such as TB, malaria, dengue fever, typhoid, polio and HIV/AIDS.
