We are getting spoiled with this hotel stuff. However, we have decided to head home because of Dave's leg. We don't want to take any chances and will have it checked as soon as possible.

We decided to drive to my daughter, Michelle's house in Maryland - 665 miles away. It was a lot of driving, but we stopped every few hours so Dave could walk around a little. We left Lebanon, TN and arrived in Sykesville about 12 hours later.

It was beautiful country here, green rolling hills and mountains on the horizons. We saw some jets flying into formations. Saw a lot of farm animals in the fields on the sides of the road. We went from TN to VA to WV and into MD. Just at dusk, we were passed by a group of motorcyclist. Their vests read "US Military Vets".

We arrived at Michelle's just before 8:00 pm. The girls were waiting up for us. It's great to see family again.
