If he only knew...If he only knew...If he only knew...

This is Tim enjoying the room prior to our "discovery" - we were out of there quick once we found our "roommates!"
We arrived! Great flights via Southwest Airlines - San Jose to Phoenix with a short layover - then onto Baltimore! Only problem was, when we were sitting on the plane in Phoenix, Nikki was watching the men load the luggage onto the plane out of her window...she then showed me the cart that held our luggage (identifiable by the nice gold ribbon we had attached to the handles) which were still sitting on the carts as the men closed the plane up - they were done loading. We waved goodbye to our suitcases (Tim never did believe us!) as we headed east. When we arrived in Baltimore, no surprise to us girls, there was no luggage for us to retrieve! We worked it out with Southwest (sparing you the details), earned a new suitcase, surrendering the one that was destroyed (run over a few times by something) and got to our hotel. Thankfully, the Baltimore airport has a 24 hour Subway restaurant, where we secured our dinner to take with us! We checked in at the Embassy Suites, BWI and ate our dinner in the comfort of our living room - then it was time for bed...looking for an outlet to

Nice discovery behind the couch at the Embassy Suites BWI
plug in the airbed for Nikki's peaceful slumber...found one behind the couch (at the highly rated Embassy Suites at the Baltimore Airport) - along with two sticky traps - LOADED with a dead mouse, maggot and cockroach!!!! EWWW! After a call to the front desk (mind you - 2 am ET), we then ended up in the Presidential Suite (after being promised all of our points allowing this free stay would be reinstated to our account). Needless to say, nothing or no one landed on the floor in this hotel (we did check behind and under everything in the suite - we weren't falling for that again! - Note to hotel - if you are to place traps in rooms - it might behoove you to check them once in a while to ensure no freaking out by guests!!!) Woke up to have a nice (free) breakfast at the hotel - and it's onto PA!!

Alright - the Presidential Suite (a 2 room suite with a living room) might help the discovery of the roommates - but know we will never stay nor recommend this hotel again...!
