Weather - 78 degrees partly cloudy

Left Lakeside RV Park in Livingston and drove to Pontchartrain Landing RV Park in New Orleans - 6001 France Road

Park is very nice with lots of plants, office, bar, pool, food, and very friendly. Park is behind a security gate right on the canal from the Mississippi River to Lake Pontchartrain. Extremely clean park. They are Passport America and the PA rates are $33.00 per night. Limitations are one week stay.

Today we took the shuttle to the French Quarter - $5.00 per person. This is the way to go to the Quarter. IT IS ST. PATRICK'S DAY on Bourbon :-) WILD!!!! Check out the pics. Caught the suttle back to the park and enjoyed some in park entertainment - two guys one on the guitar and the other on the sax. The guy on the sax was awesome though they both were very very good.

Reminiscing!
We visited the "warehouse" where all the floats are made for Marti Gras. Demo was very interesting. Lake Pontchartrain is the place my brother's absolute best Air Force buddy lives. My brother will be there next week for a visit with him. Bourbon St. looks the same as when we were there twice. Enjoy your travels Aleta and Shelby...and we will enjoy hearing all about them! We are so happy you are having this experience! Life is great; God is good! June King
