Chocolate Martini?

Clear Lake to Charles City. The shortest day of riding, 53 miles. Pretty uneventful. Part of what makes Ragbrai is seeing something different every day. On Tuesday I saw a man riding an old style bicycle with the very large front wheel and very small back wheel. There are no breaks on this beast so any breaking has to be done by stopping the petals. Today I passed a young girl in her early 30’s who is running, yes I said running the course. Can you possibly imagine your shortest day being two marathons and then getting up and doing that over AGAIN AND AGAIN for seven days? Dinner tonight at the Baptist Church, Spaghetti, salad and of course pie. After dinner we went back to camp, next to an assisted living facility, and had our chocolate martini / Jack and Coke party. Do I need to elaborate?
