The Columbian Exchange and Triangular trade has affected current day foods and culture because when Christoper Columbus supposedly discovered America, different goods would be traded to the other countries.



Recipe: Fried Corn

The origins of this recipe is Central America and Mexico regions.

My family identifies with the fried corn recipe because it's a recipe that was created in the south, especially where my mother is from.

I think people should have access to a variety of foods to see how food tastes and learn more about the cultures and origins of the food.

Food is an important aspect of one's culture because it is what brings people together.

Fried Corn ingredients: Corn, sugar, pimentos, flower, milk, etc.
