Well, i am offically melting! Its so hot here, but its lovely! I cant get enough of sitting on the beach!
The foreign office has not published an offical warning advising people not to go to fiji, so yesterday Corinne and I had a lovely day trip to the Airport to change our tickets. We are now flying direct to Sydney on the 14th. Im a bit gutted, cos i would have liked to see Fiji, but i guess thats our luck, and i can go another time!
Today we are going on a tour of the north shore, thats where all the turtles, great whites, big waves and Jack Johnson live! Hes home at the mo, and we go past his house, so you never know, might see him! ha ha. We have two more nights in Waikiki and then we are going to stay on the north shore for a couple of nights. Then back here for the last few nights before we leave.
The nightlife is a bit odd. Only a few bars really, and they are full of american marines and tourists. Had one lady laugh in my face for about
5 minutes after i asked if she lived here or if she was on holiday! She found it so 'cute' that i called it holiday and not vacation! Me and Corinne didnt find it quite so funny. 😊
I am going to attempt to attach a photo, if it works, ill attach some more when i get back from the north shore tomorrow. Untill then, bye bye!
