Cashiers check on hand, along for the ride are sailing friends and members of the Gulf Wind Sailing Club, Joe and Rosa Passanissi. They have lot's of experience with Out Islands. Both of them are professional Captains.
We met Martin at the marina, handed him the check, checked boat out, gave Bob, marina owner, new 3 blade prop, told him we would pick boat up Friday night, arranged to sleep at their dock free of charge.

Upon Pete's retirement in 2005, decision was made to go South on the boat. We will take it one day at a time. One island at a time. See how far we get. Unfortunately it was late in the season, so we took of on the land boat instead for 6 months. In 2006, we made our 1st crossing across the Florida straights towards the unknown, new cultures, islands, countries, foods, vegetation, etc. We hope you enjoy reading our adventures and looking at our pictures.... full info
