midnight rambling in MIami

Miami - 23 Feb.
well after midnight and transport connections to get tomorrow to get down to Key West for a couple of nights - more on that later as a bit tortuous to organise, otherwise it woudl not have been as cheap - think $200+ a night! top season etc.

Anyway unlike yesterday Tues 22nd (least said the better as did not much at all) today at least got out to Everglades in the morning and did the airboat thing and saw some crocodilia/alligators - see pix for brief detail.

Then back to the city for some pizza then uptown in Beach a little and saw the Miami Fillmore and visited the Jewish Holocaust memorial - then bussed over to city ($5 magnetic pass for 1 day is easier than having $2 for each ride - used the free metromover (a useful monorail unlike the trash thing we have in Sydney) which stops frequently at inner CBD locations - and ended up near where we started at city waterfront - some snaps att. - then a nice dinner at a Peruvian restaurant I had seen when we stayed before cruise as around the corner - then back to the Beach and down to the far South end to South Point Park. So Miami, that's it! feel I have got a decent sample so not unhappy to leave now as not much else to sample. More catchups to still come but need time. Maybe over that mojito and a cigar in Ernest Hemingway's den in the Keys it will happen?........
