Day 4

Lazy Day

We stayed in bed almost all day today. Slept in until 11, stayed in bed drinking coffee and watching tv until around 3.

It's very dark and cloudy outside today, thunder and lightning,
sporadic downpour rainstorms. We were hoping we could spend the day at
the beach today but that's probably not going to work out. At 3:30 we
got way too hungry to stay in the room so we walked up the street to a
burger place called Top Burger. They should have called their place
Bottom Burger. Wasn't good at all. Sigh. Also, it started monsoon
raining as soon as we walked in the door so we got stuck sitting in
there for a while.

Back to the room for more bed, tv, naps, etc.

At 10:30 we went next door to Johnny Rockets for burgers round 2.

Burgers, fries, shakes, it was much better than our lunch. Spent
some time watching the hordes of people walking by, so many people from
so many different places. There is a ton of lightning flashing in the
sky and it will probably start raining again soon.

We leave early in the morning and we'll be home before 1 pm
tomorrow, we're ready! Really wishing we could have spent more time at
the beach while we were here since that was the main reason for coming.
There's been more rain in our lives over the last six months than we can
remember ever having. Crazy! We've been talking while we've been here
about where our next beach vacation should be. Hawaii, the Caribbean,
Mexico? Overall the trip was pretty fun and spending so much time
together has been wonderful and amazing!
