Tonight was the Annual NCLR Awards Gala.

These awards are to recognize outstanding efforts to promote the contributions of Latinos to the American society. By building stronger communities, we are building a stronger America.

Awards were presented to the following individuals:

Affiliate of the Year - CentroNia
Graciela Olivarez La Raza Award - Paul Chavez
Maciovio Barraza Award for Leadership - Emilio Estefan, Jr.
Ruben Salazar Award for Communications - Maggie Rivas-Rodriguez
President's Award - Henry Cisneros
