After waiting for two years (thanks covid!), my parents and I finally got to restart our favorite tradition: taking my nieces and nephews (their grandchildren) for their first Disney trip. The last time our family was at Disney World was 2005.
My nephew works for them. He is getting married on 3 December so we thought we might go again. Another nephew was the chief structural engineer on the Star Wars ride, another reason to check it out. But you are not the only one from whom I have heard bad reports about the park. So we may just skip it. Although the weather won't be bad, the high prices are ridiculous! I also hate flying in the States!

I should have mentioned that I think Disney would turn in his grave if he knew what an outrageously expensive place his kingdom had become. He wanted joy for families... he would not support the cost.

Disney's dream
Yeah, I agree. I don't mind paying money for quality (for visitors and staff) and experience, but the blatant money grubbing is really disgusting. It's still a nice place to visit, but I have been going my whole life, probably 30 times, and it is clear each and every time I go that it is all and only about money.
