Best Friends

Together, again. Yahoooo! Whooopeee! Yesterday was a day we looked so forward to. We spent it with our dearest and best friends, Lill & Joe Edgley. Since 1985, they have lived in Jupiter, Florida. Prior to that, they were "Wellsvillians"....that is where we met. It seems like we have been friends with them forever and will continue to do so. We have shared so many wonderful times together as well as supporting each other through the bumpy ones. What stories we could tell you! We laugh about them like they were yesterday. What an energetic and a "devil-may-care" approach we had in our adventures together. What happened in Wellsville; stays in Wellsville. Whew....I am exhausted just thinking of the stamina we had. We would often top off our evening of fun and frolic at Hamburger Willies (famous for its Graveyard Stew) around 2:30 AM or later (yes, in the morning!)....only for Joe to be up first thing in the morning for his round of golf! God, it's hell to get old! Our times together now our limited because of distance. We cherish these few opportunities to be with one another. Every minute counts! Extra special with our visit yesterday was seeing their handsome (movie star looks) and charming son, John. He is such a nice guy. John owns and operates his own crematorium as well as his Crime Scene Clean-Up business. Oh, how I would love to be one of his employees....I would work for free. Lulu really loved John as you can see. I almost bet he would cremate her for free when the time comes....he's that kind! Our day ended with happy togetherness and sorrowful departure. When the song plays "For the Good Times"....we always think of Lill & Joe (this is one of Lill's favorites). So here's to our dearest friends: Thank You So Much For The Good Times, Lill & Joe. We love you! Until we meet again......
