Day Twenty- Savannah to Daytona

On the way to Savannah we stopped at St. Augustine for lunch. St. Augustine is the oldest settlement of the USA. It's a cute little town that is swamped with tourists! Then we moved on to Daytona Beach where we accidently booked a hotel on the main island and not on the beach so it was pretty far from all the excitement. When we first got to Daytona we went straight to the Daytona speedway but it was about to close so we didn't even get to see the track or anything. We went to the beach for dinner to a place called Mai Tai that had cocktails for $4 or pitchers of beer for $6! The place was packed with college kids who all seemed to know each other and be in massive groups so me and Laura just sat there on our own looking like losers the whole time but it was fascinating people watching.
