Reculé, à quai pour 2 mois à Marina Village, Boynton Beach, Fl. Back in the slip for 2 months at Marina Village, Boynton Beach, Fl

We finally reached our final destination, Boynton Beach, Florida late Thursday 15 December. After going through 15 bridges (only 3 fixed the other 12 opened on demand or every ½ hour) Edgar backed up our 12' beam sailboat into a 15' slip, no scratches, a real PRO!!! We rented the slip for 2 months at a Marina located less than a mile from our condo. What a relief to finally be on firm ground. Both of us, without hesitation decided to go and sleep at the condo that night. We’ll be staying at the condo till our tenants arrive on 10 January (for 3 months); we’ll then move back into the boat until 26 January when we return to Qc for a 2 week vacation!!! Nothing is yet decided as to what our plans are when we return to Florida on 7 February....to be continued.

Thank you for following our crazy adventure. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas surrounded by your loved ones and may 2012 be an exceptional year filled with health, happiness and peace.

BRAVO!!!
Was delighted to know you had arrived safely in Boynton's Beach. What an adventure and what a challenge and you did it!! Congratulations and now it is time to relax and enjoy the lovely Florida weather. At the moment it is -3 and a light freezing rain has been falling for a couple of hours now. My sister is arriving around eight; Nelson will meet her train in Dorval. Mary will be here for three weeks. Thank you for your lovely Christmas card and wishes. Love and all good wishes to you and your family. Barbara xxx
