Just Getting Started

Hey everyone!
Well, If we haven't spoken directly, or communicated by email yet, I just wanted to confirm that I left Toronto on February 3rd to go on an extended "roadtrip". Basically, I'll be driving throughout the U.S. and Canada, eventually going as far west as Alaska, via the American midwest and the Canadian west, and then winding my way back down the west coast (Washington, Oregon, California), across the southwest, (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico), and somewhere along the route hitting Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.
There will be a trip or two back out west on the bike, with a few different friends as well.
Ultimately, I will head out to Australia, New Zealand, with stops on some of the South Pacific islands on the way back.
In the mean time, I started the whole thing with a simple drive down to Florida, where I'm happy to report I was fortunate to miss all of the horrible weather and arrive in time for the typical warm and sunny climate.
Anyway, nothing to exotic down here, however, I've included some photographs, just to document some of the goings on. I'll keep you updated with new comments and photos as time goes by. From here, I will head to Colorado for some intensive skiing - my first time in five years. (There will be long gaps between some of these entries, as I need to take some time to do some renovations at home in between!).
