The whole day at Dulles...

So, lucky us! We spent the whole day at Dulles! Timmo dropped us off at 10:00ish, and when checking us in and answering our questions about tight connections, the American Airlines attendant made a smart decision and put us on a direct flight to Madrid from DC. Domestic flights were packed due to bad weather on Wednesday! Even though it was scheduled to leave at 6:00 ish, we chose to play it safe and stay at the airport. Besides, our cell phones were at Boo´s house, and OF COURSE we don´t have her number memorized.
We had coffee at Starbuck´s for Ross´s sake, and hung out. Played Quiddler, wrote in journals, did crosswords and sudoku, etc.
Once we got to our gate, we discovered that there was a 1 hour delay, which eventually became 2. And after boarding, because of an ATC delay, it became 3. At 9:15ish, we took off.
Our very late dinner was not too bad. Sleep was cramped and punctuated by the screams of a toddler nearby...
