Yesterday and today we stopped by Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. We toured a couple of the cliff dwellings and were able to climb around in one too. These houses were built over 1000 years ago by the ancient Pueblo Indians and are still standing today. It's so neat to see how they lived back then. Luckily, we finished up the one just before a huge storm came where there was a torrential downpour and hail too. At one point we almost got struck by lightening and that sent us running for cover.
