After a quick visit to Mesa Verde, we headed north to check out Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. It's probably the hottest it's been yet during the trip...almost 100 every day! It's amazing to see all the arches and towering rocks, especially since they were all carved out by the weather and erosion over a really long time. Delicate Arch was a great site, and much bigger than we realized. We also were able to hike around and see the Landscape and Double O arches as well as Balanced Rock, just to name a few.

Canyonlands was pretty interesting too. Our first stop there was the Mesa Arch. I thought it was going to be a little bigger, but it was just as impressive to see the 1000 foot drop off and scenery behind it.
