Our Bon Voyage Party!

Last weekend we had the party to beat all parties! It was a bon voyage party for our upcoming world trip, but it was also Ted's and my 25th Anniversary party, plus Ted's retirement party! We got to see and visit with so many of our friends --some of whom we hadn't seen for years. We also had some out of town family and friends fly in -- we are so grateful they were there to celebrate with us! We displayed a world map with our journey plotted out -- a pretty impressive visual -- and handed out cards with our travelblog address. Our itinerary has changed little in the last 4 months, but we have a little more "fine-tuning" to go and then I will post it in our next blog entry. D-day is three weeks from today!
