Day Eight - Santa Monica

Santa Monica's pier is world famous and features in a heap of films. Today was just a relaxing day at the hostel, drinking some coronas before catching the bus to the pier. The bus ride takes roughly an hour. Which is the same as going to Venice beach. If you continue following the coast line from Venice beach you can make it to Santa Monica pier in about a 20 minute walk. Once there it was a great place to photograph. You had the beach, food and amusement rides all in the same place. On the beach I sat until sunset where I could get some decent shots of the pier. After this it was back on the bus and the drinks at the backpackers for the remainder of the night.
