Whale watching in long beach

We went for whale watching trip in Long beach during February 2008.
It was a great trip. Initially we just planned to roam around Long beach.
But we saw these whale watching tours there. It was whale watching season. So we decided on the spot and went for the whale watching tour.
The sea was quite unsettling that day. The ride got bumby and Mom was quite scared to move in the beginning. BUt somehow we pushed her to go to the top deck. We did not geta full whale view but could see it moving around our boat 😊
We also saw some sea lions and otters on our way back. It got stormy on the way back and started raining just as we returned back. Otherwise it would have been more bumby 😊 Lucky us!
We also visited Queen mary's ship now turned into a hotel. We could not visit the scorpion submarine because they had closed already. It was a nice relaxing weekend trip all in all...
