House on the Hill
This is our house in Jenner, CA Nancy's Entry: Finally -- we woke up to sun today! We started the day by taking a drive along the coast now that we finally had nice weather to enjoy the views. I have had a phobia of riding in the car for as long as I can remember, and some things make it worse -- two lane roads and heights/cliffs are a couple of them, and add to that a tendency toward car sickness, and it was a recipe for a panic attack. After getting out of the car and relaxing for a bit, I was able to get back in and actually enjoy our drive along Highway 1. We drove to Bodega Bay, the location where Alfred Hitchcock's
"The Birds" was filmed, and had a little coffee/breakfast with incredible ocean views. Then we went back to our house, hung out for a few hours, and packed up in the early afternoon and left for Sunnyvale in the Silicon Valley. Kevin had a dinner meeting with a client in Palo Alto. Bentley and I were put up in a hotel where we felt very pampered ordering linguni from room service, with cheesecake and champagne for dessert. When Kevin got back
View from our House
This is the view from inside our living room to the hotel we watched Matt Damon in "The Adjustment Bureau." Now I know why President Obama made fun of it at the press dinner a few weeks ago -- it was terrible! But sometimes its fun to watch a terrible movie, and this was one of those times.
