Arghhh...had just finished writing a blog and internet crashed just as I tried to hit save!

Anyway, last day in SFO today. Caught cable car to Lombard St. Have learned that SFO is the second steepest city in the world...and I believe it after today. Lombard St is very, very steep. Lucky I was walking downhill methinks (although was a bit jarring on the knees...lol). Great views.

Continued walking to North Beach which is 'little Italy'. Each telegraph pole has Italian colours painted on it. Sat in Washington Park - and watched a Chinese man do Tai Chi for a few moments. Moved on though as a few people started to get a bit rowdy. Have also learned that 40% of Little Italy residents are Chinese - who'da thought? Anyway, had lunch in a lovely Italian restaurant.

Needed to walk off lunch so continued walking past China town and through the Financial District (fewer homeless people here....funny about that...) and then back to the hotel. Nice day in all.

Very early start tomorrow. 7am flight to..wait for it....New York City...whooohooo. Seems most of day will be spent travelling (up at about 4am...Oh Oh). Flight is about 5 hours but with the time difference won't arrive in NYC until about 4pm. Bit exciting.

Cheers.
