Andrea, Jesse, and I headed down to watch the Pride parade. Jesse is Andrea's younger brother. He is a UC Berkeley PHD student experimenting with reactions that he hopes will efficiently turn water into hydrogen.

The San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration, usually known as San Francisco Pride, is a parade and festival held in June each year in San Francisco to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their allies. The 40th anniversary parade included over 200 parade contingents, and is described on the official website as "the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation."
