We woke up early to head on down to Santa Cruz via California's famous Highway 1.

First, we took a tour of Pacific Bell Ball Park. I am not much of a baseball fan but it was still nice to get a personal tour of the stadium and locker room.

Highway 1 is an awesome drive if you've never taken it. It twists and turns all along the Pacific Coast and the only way to drive it is by convertible...until you freeze your face off from the cold winds.

We stopped along the way to get a glimpse of the beaches and natural coastline that dot the highway. I could go up and down this highway all year.

We arrived in Santa Cruz for our hotel stay and dinner. The boardwalk area seemed very closed for the season though. I shall have to make it out here when its livelier and happier.

This is my favorite picture of Tony. He looks sophisticated, relaxed, famous.
