California, here we come... !

Drive to California
Liz Toms Wow. Long day of driving, again. The trip to Cali did turn out to be about 12 hours, but the fact that I got pulled over in Nevada might have something to do with it (don't worry... I'm an expert at getting out of ~300 dollar fines). We left Provo early in the morning and got into San Fran a good way into the evening. The drive was (not suprisingly) enjoyable. The rest of Utah was nice, and Nevada is quite a desolate state but scenic state; California... well, it's California. It was remarkable how much the scenery changed once we crossed the California border; it was desert and sand in Nevada, pine trees and plant life in California. We didn't really do much except for drive today. Once we got into San Francisco (and actually found our way to our lodging) we bummed around the hotel. We got lots of pictures of the ride though. California!
