Fishermans Wharf

Okay so last night we went to Fishermans Wharf. Interesting place (didn''t get a crab - cause we couldn't get served) so we ended up with chicken (at least we think that is what it was 😊

The day started just like we have seen most days here in the US - wet and rainy. Mark attended his last sessions for the Conference and then we went looking for somewhere nice for lunch - we ended up at Monticello Inn - which was great (yes that means highly recommended and they also have a kids menu and a sign in the window which reads Kids Welcome) then we slowly made our way down to Macy's to mail our letters and then on to get our Go San Francisco Cards at which time we had a "Wardrobe Malfunction"which really just means my bag finally gave up the ghost!! We lost all this stuff on the sidewalk!!!!

We collected our Card and had to head back to the hotel to drop off some goodies and then we headed off towards to the Australian Consulate. We had a 3.00pm and we did arrive quite early and spent some time in a bookshop.

From there Mark decided we needed some exercise and so we walked (yes walked in high heeled boots) all the way to Fishermans Wharf - oh my aching feet!!!! We looked around and got rained on (Sigh) saw Alcatraz through the rain (sigh) and then looked around the shops.

When we decided to come home we headed for the taxi rank just outside took the scenic route home (actually the driver was trying to avoid the gridlock in town and did a good job) Then upstairs with a bottle of sparkling wine to settle in for the evening.

So today we have the cable car, back to fishermans wharf, the SS Jeremiah & a few other things to see. Oh and packing tonight 😞
