cable car ride
group pix..hey..taking the outside of the cable car is more impt...a group pix...of a bunch of happy gals..despite the slight drizzle..spirits were sky high! The second day was spent at Adobe Inc in Townsend street -right in the midst of SF. The line up they have done for the girls were great and the gals had a good time walking round the office place, shown some of the best sites done and also listened to some inspiring stories on how one guy brought a company from a start-up to listing within 4 years! The same guy is now working in Adobe..which means that life is all about being able to adapt and change.
Our host, Johann was trained in drama yet went on to be the marketing manager at Adobe..something that he told the girls - whatever u learnt is never wasted and u need not necessarily be trained in IT to be in IT line 😊
of course, my pet peeve was that there were too few women in IT and fortunately for us - johann has a lady lined up in his presentation - who shared with the gals the challenges faced by being the only lady in a room that may be filled with 50 guys 😊
serious stuff over, the gals went for the cable ride - taking
at adobe
listening n being inspired by a designer at the talk in the sights and sounds of SF, as well as visit the famous Ghirardelli choc maker at Ghiardelli square - a quaint shopping arcade with a choc store that looks more european than american.
SF is never complete without visiting the famed Fisherman wharf and also tasting the sourdough by Boudin Bakery - as u can guess - it was started by a French 😊
enjoy the pix!
