Today I went through the Globe to Show Low Scenic Drive with stop at Cibeque Creek for an unforgettable hike. The 2 miles hike along the bank of Cibeque creek was refreshing. I was totally absorbed by the beauty of the mountain, stream, rocks, and vegetations. It wasn't easy to get there. As I drove up to the mountain, the climate turned colder. Ponderosa pines became the dominant plants. There were lines and lines of them along the highway.

The beautiful golden light from the setting sun drew me to a stop at the town of Taylor - right after Show Low at 6000 ft elevation - for a quick snapshot.

I stayed at this Motel when I was in Flagstaff. It was one of the old motels located on the historic route 66. $20 a night with wireless internet access!
