Day 7 of Road Trip to the Southwest - Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona

The plan today was to travel south from Flagstaff, AZ via scenic highway 89A through the beautiful Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona, AZ. Along the way, I would stop by two state parks - the Siding Rock State Park and the Red Rock State Park.

Slide Rock State Park
Here is the famous sliding rocks. At summer time, this is a crowed place where people play with the natural slides on these slippery rocks.

The Red Rock State Park was once a private residence of a couple. This is the original house that the couple used to live. What a great place to live!

Juniper trees are survivors! They could survive in the most difficult environment. They were very photogenic too.
