Gail and Sue with one of our Heartwalk Hosts, Phoenix Rising Star
Yes, Phoenix Rising Star is how she writes her name. One of the Desk Angels is Umika, who says the name came to her in a dream. Who knows if any of the other names were real. On Thursday we had a Relaxation Day. As you have probably figured out, our trip had to have built in Relaxation Days...and you know that last nerve Gail and Sue were sharing when they left the Sault, well you will all be happy to hear we found a few so we should be good for a week or so when we get back home.
Our Relaxation Day started out at the Heartwalk Center where we met up with Sean and Joy again for massages...oh, the joy of having a massage. We had another aura picture done. Gail's aura after 10 days of Arizona showed that she was still full of vitality and creativity. There was some healing!! Now Sue's last aura picture was a little different from the first two. No one could tell me what had happened except that maybe I was channeling something or somebody because most of it was black. When Sue expressed disappointment, Leon was quick to assure Sue that there is no such thing as negativity...it was all good. Sue wanted a refund or at least to have another picture taken. Maybe before we leave town tomorrow.
After our massages, we headed to uptown
Gail with Leon
Note the look - the hippie scarf head wear. We really did have a transformation. Sedona. Gail was hell bent on trying snake so we stopped in at the Cowboy's Club. We did see one real cowboy with leather chaps etc. We have no idea where the horse was but there was no doubt the guy was a cowboy. So besides the ribs we ordered a sampler plate with fried Vietnamese python (snake), Buffalo Bits and Cactus Fries with Prickly Pear sauce. Gail did start the meal with a Prickly Pear marguerita. The Cactus Fries were good, the Buffalo Bits were OK and there were mixed reviews on the snake. Gail thought it tasted like stringy fish and wasn't too bad. Sue ate one of her pieces only to say she did (and not to be out done by Gail). A couple sitting across from us started talking to us and the guy really appeared to want to try the snake so we gave him a skewer to try...of course, they then had to listen to the BListers travelogue and what we recommend they see and do.
We have had sporadic internet connection for the past 24 hours so now it is Sunday around 9 am Arizona time. We will leave Sedona in a
few hours and drive back to Phoenix. We fly back to Detroit tomorrow but who knows when we will arrive back in the Sault. We did have a wonderful relaxing hot rock massage last night. Of course, the day dawned bright and beautiful but by that time, it was pouring rain. The locals love the rain and it sure didn't bother us...but don't be looking for any tans. We didn't even get a chance to lay around the pool...there is still much to do and see here in this little corner of the world. I think we will be back.
We still have a few stories and pics to share and will be posting them so stay tuned. Packing up is such a bother especially when we have rocks and crystals...it should be interesting when we check in at the airport.
