Those that camp on the BLM land in Quartzsite often add artwork to their sites using the desert rocks. Here are photos of some of these beautiful creations.

Heart
This heart was created by our friend Patti. So fun to leave artwork that will remain for others to see.

Peace Symbol
The white rocks really stand out on the dark rock of the BLM land.

Compass Rose
Great detail and directionally correct.

Spiral
This spiral was near Palm Canyon. People leave items in the center of the spiral-painted rocks, small toys, business cards, and other trinkets.

We met the couple that did the United States. They were parked next to the map.

Others added Canada a few years ago. This was done to scale, amazing!

Loved the tree going in each direction.

Though not art, we came across 2 adobe ovens We liked the colored rocks in front of the oven.

This oven was elevated on a mud mound. I think we will try making one of these next year. Lois will be doing some research on the best way to construct one.
