Marathon or Grand Canyon? Marathon or Grand Canyon?

Guess the answer was quite obvious. Made a side trip to Grand Canyon since I was in Vegas for work. Made our reservation before the trip thinking we're all ready to see Grand Canyon. Waited at the bus stop at 445am in the freaking cold as told. The bus never came. Grateful for the hotel staff who helped us call the company, and to our horror, the trip was cancelled due to snow 😞

Thought we couldn't see the canyon, but the hotel's travel agent managed to put us on a tour to see the canyon after all. Yeah! We took a chartered flight to the Grand Canyon, passing through the Colorado River and saw how vast the Canyon is.

Upon arrival, we were transferred on a bus into the National Park. The park was covered in snow! So beautiful. When we got closepaws realized that the canyons we're all topped with snow, like icing on a cake. Unbelievable. Atypical sight of the canyon. Simply gorgeous!

Weren't crowded in the park, enjoyed the canyon at different angles. Trotted the park with boots totally not prepared for snow. Toes nearly froze. Though we had to wake up at odds hours in the morning and met with a little mishap, but this trip is totally worth every effort. Soooo beautiful...
