Fairbanks
We spent a couple of days at Chena Hot Springs Resort. There was a wonderful big, adult only pool. The water was nice and warm! Then on to Fairbanks. Okay, follow this: Ed's Daughter Dana is married to Hansel. Hansels parents, Wayne and Marijo Larson live in Fairbanks. We arrived on Friday July 3. We went out that night to the Pioneer Park and went to the Salmon Bake. All you can eat Salmon, Halibut, Cod and Prime Rib. Wow! Then we went to a show at the Palace Theater. July the 4th we went over to join the rest of the family for a barbeque. The girls had made a slip and slide for the kids. It was a great day. Unfortuneately, the fires in the area caused there to be a lot of smoke in the air. I caught a bad head cold/ allergies. We also went to the Museam. The have artifacts from the indians and animals. You are seeing a picture of mastadon horns and the remains of an ancient blue steer.
