Last year this moose, a baby then, was hit by a car and its leg shattered. A local vet donated the time and facilities to mend the broken leg. The moose now has a home at the Reindeer Farm. This is the last year people will be able to get close to the moose as he is already beligerant at times.

It is rare to be able to get close to a moose of this size. Here he is rubbing his head on my back, much like my horse used to.

At the reindeer Farm you get to mingle with the animals, even feed the. Why, they eat Purina Reindeer Chow. What else would you imagine? Aslong as you have food they come to yoou. Show them an empty hand and they go looking elsewhere.

The reindeer babys greedily suck on the bottle for their milk. It is necessary to remove the bottle at intervals to let air back inside the bottle.
