What a day. Off we went to Cancun airport all excited and ready for Cuba when we were told that we had no flight reservations to Havana! We were less than impressed. As it turns out, the company we booked through online had cancelled our fligths without without notifying us. In a panic we tried calling them and got no answer. Ended up missing the flight. In the end, the only way was to buy new flights and we didn't leave for Havana till Thursday, meaning we missed going to Trinidad (a lovely colonial city in Cuba which had been highly recommended). It was a bummer to our finances as we hadn't anticipated the extra flight expenses and what with certain bank cards not functioning in Central America we were in a bit of a pickle. Luckily our hostel in Cancun had free breakfast included and a kitchen for us to make cheap meals. Pasta anyone!?

Genauso schlimm. Sitzen extra 3 Tage in Cancun fest, der unattraktivsten Stadt Mexikos.
