playa good food
we ordered fried fish... it was two whole fish fried. Very tasty, a little awkward to eat. Drove quite a bit the past couple of days, and found some nice cheap places to stay on the beach! Stayed just outside of Papanoah, next to a restaruante and pluged in... they said they just wanted a tip for staying the night! We thought it would be polite of us to go and have dinner at the restaruant for such nice hospitality.... were sure glad we did!! Fresh seafood... they catch it right out front of the restaurant!!! We all really enjoyed it. Drove south along the coast and went through a tunnel in Acapulco, a navigational error that ended up costing $500 pesos in tolls...oops. We saw a car accident, and the people don't move to the side. They just get out of their vehicles and wait for the federals to come and arrest them (in mexico you are guilty of the car accident until they can prove fault). There was a strong military presence in the state of guerrero. We drove through various military check points and a few federales checkpoints too. We got the full RV search once, at which point jordans wallet dissapeared. From under his bed. Luckily no credit cards were inside. Take that federales!
We sayed at another beach town, in Tomy's parking for $50 pesos... the dog really liked it because he had some friends to play with, but there was no surf, so we moved on. We will rest up in puerto escondito, try to catch a wave or two and plan our next move.
