Mexico was our beach holiday within a holiday. Despite all the hassle getting there (the scenery on the way was amazing though - see the last two photos), we had a great time experimenting with Mexican food, speaking the odd bit of Spanish and drinking tequila in various cocktail combinations.

OK the place we stayed, El Pascador motel, has good restaurant and if drinking's your thing, the bar does a great strawberry dacquiri. The bar with all the police badges is along the south end of the waterfront I think. You'll find it, you can see the whole town in an hour really. What to do - chill out on the beach, beware the sea snakes and maybe try a ride on one of the off-road karts, they looked fun though we didn't do that.
