This blog is just short of 10 years old. We have now move to South Africa. Why South Africa? Simple, great wine, great food, great golf and even more amazing diving! I will for once continue to blog from time to time about home. After all, this is just my fourth continent after having grow up in Europe, lived in Asia for twenty years, and even spent a full year living the life of Buenos Aires. Do look at the link I post in my other reply....AMAZING is just too short of a word!
At one stage, I had a manta in front of me, and a dolphin pup out on the left....quick move to "abandon" the manta...and soon, 4 of us were playing with around 6 dolphins for 10 minutes...that was four divers out of 20! Diving after the big ones is not fair...it's either a question of luck....or to be fortunate to dive so much...in so many great places...that luck is with you...often...

What an awesome quote.."Because you dive less often'' - why shouldnt it be special indeed. One more to add to the list thanks..except I dont know if I could put up with that many russians on a liveaboard :)

Ah yes, Soccoro Isla is where I took my first dive!! Fantastic pictures, they capture what I saw many years ago. Come back to CSL again and stay a while next time, I'll take you for a round of golf. I'm pretty sure you will experience the quirky charm of this silly little place!
