We arrived to Vancouver in the evening, with enough time to check into our hotel and grab some sushi at a very authentic restaurant in Richmond. The following day I took Jane to the airport so she could catch her flight home to Toronto. She timed everything very carefully, because the next morning she would be moving all her things to Montreal, and that Monday she would be starting her new job. After kissing her good bye I made my way to the pastry shop where my friend Martin works. In only a few hours we would be off to Vancouver Island.
