The first city we stopped at on our cruise was Charlottetown, Prince Edwards Island. Upon our arrival I was disappointed to find it pouring rain, so, by our own choosing, we cancelled our city tour because it was just so wet. I sadly had wanted to revisit a wonderful seaport restaurant for lobster but we had to wait for our next stop along the way. We spent the morning leisurely enjoying breakfast then ventured out between rain drops to the terminal. Thank goodness I had my rain poncho with! In the terminal is a full permanent craft center for shopping the local products from jewelry to maple syrup. We met some of our fellow travelers, visited with them while sipping the local coffee. When we went back to the ship and enjoyed an afternoon lunch at the Lido, played a long standing gin card game on the pool deck which has a retractable roof for foul weather. This was delightful as we had a nice cozy place to enjoy the day!
