Kia 417
Dee with the donations and Peter Tilly from the Ottawa Food Bank! We were scheduled to go to our first dealership at noon so unfortunately we missed the yoga classes that happen on the lawn right in front of Parliament every Wed. I really would have liked to see Steven Harper in his yoga pants…ok let’s erase that visual haha. So after having tea on the terrace and enjoying the view we headed off to Kia 417 where we met General Manager Linda Carriere. They were having a special summer event and had the car tents set up. It’s really cool you just set it up like a normal tent but then attach to the main cargo area. I thought it was really cool that management decided to match whatever the employees brought in and donated. Just as we had gotten there the girls were just coming back from the grocery store with piles of donations. Peter Tilley was there to greet us from the Ottawa Food Bank. He was a really nice guy and was very impressed at what we were doing. We got some great photos of the staff and donations and headed on our way to Banks Street Kia and met General Manager Goran Grubesic. He was so friendly and

Ottawa knows how to 'drive change'! The dealership matched it's employees donations! Way to go! made a generous monetary donation to the local food bank. The dealership was quite busy but he still was so hospitable and asked us if he could get us any refreshments. Unfortunately we had to hit the road and say goodbye to Ottawa….we’re off to Quebec City!!!
