We went and visited our second dealership today – Trento Kia, North York ON. We met Stephane Morin. His employees were joking around about emailing his wife all the photos he had with us girls haha. They had a great table of donations…even yummy ketchup chips! We had to keep an eye on Lindsay she was really eyeing them up haha. Jenn is in need of a new car…she’s in love with the Kia Sportage…or how she keeps mis-pronouncing it….SPORT-EDGE haha. After we hung out at Trento Kia we walked around downtown Toronto. IT IS SO HUMID AND HOT! YUCK! We had fun and took some pics with the Kia and handed out Drive Change With Kia braclettes. I saw a lady pulling into a parking lot in her Kia Soul so I went up to the window and got her to roll it down. I think she thought I was trying to sell her the bracelettes lol but after I explained what I was doing she wasn’t so freaked out hahah. Maybe I shouldn’t a accost people in their Kia’s! We went for dinner to Jack Astor’s which is a really cool restaurant. There was a funny dude dancing in a chair in front of a video screen. He was our main entertainment for the night! We sat on the patio and just chatted about how we look forward to visiting other cities on the food drive!!! Tomorrow Leith is flying in from Halifax at 5:30pm. Leith is the Editor of the Thunder Bay Source Newspaper but he is originally from Halifax. He already had his trip booked for there but he still wanted to meet us in Toronto and help us with our food drive…BACK to his hometown of Halifax!! Haha
