July 14 and 15

Once again the rain was chasing us. We woke up and had to pack up fast. Again, we beat the rain. I even got to make coffee. The day was full of rain and a lot of driving. We didn't stop much and ended up getting a pizza late before we got to rainbow falls provincial park past Thunder Bay near Rossport. The camp site was spectacular. We were right on the water with round platforms of smooth rock rolling out into the water. Most of the rock was pink and it was incredible. The mist and fog made it magical and also made for a wet camp, although worth it. We woke up to rain and couldn't race it so we packed up wet and tired. So today we didn't get very far. We've stopped at Lake Superior park 80 km south of Wawa. Here there are huge sites on the water with shade from the full sun that we're getting now. The beach goes forever and is all beautiful round rocks and sand. Jake's collecting rocks. Sunset is falling now, too tired to paddle, but Jacob got in for a swim. I'm going for a shower.

Good night and sweet dreams.
