We stepped foot onto Nova Scotia around noon (back to Atlantic time), and had beautiful weather! Stopped at Tim Horton's (which there is one in most every town), by North Sydney and then headed to our Inn. We kinda got confused about the location of this inn, but after stopping and talking to a nice man (who we got off of his mower) we found our way. Another one of the many nice folks we've met along the way. The inn is in a small town called St. Peter's and we were able to walk a nice trail along the shores of the bay. We stumbled across a canal that is still operating and helps boats navigate from the Atlantic ocean to the Bras D'or Lake. Met a nice young lady who worked for the park service and she gave us some history on the canal. Also met some folks fishing for mackrel along the canal, and I've come to find out that I can fish witout a license since it's salt water, so I might give it a try tomorrow. After returning from our walk, we headed to the resturant. The food was killer! Can't wait for breakfast! Heading to
