Ok... Just for the record Merritt Canada looks NOTHING like Las Vegas! Merritt is first of all green and its surrounded by mountains that have trees on them! Plus Merritt has a river. It was funny that almost everyone would say that your trading one desert for another, when we would tell them were going to Merritt. They would also say that it was a desert and really hot..kinda like Vegas. Which is not true Merritt is much more appealing to the eye then Vegas. We arrived yesterday in Merritt and it has been so nice so far! The town is really small but quite big in some ways. We hikes two easy trails today and it was so much fun! The second hike was very muddy in the beginning. All of our shoes and socks were wet by the end of it. But the end of the hike was so worth it! The lake and mountains were so beautiful!

We spent only one day in Vancouver=( But it was very nice there. There is so much to do! But we went out in service and had a tour of the city by a sister who was raised in Montreal. We did a little deaf searching on the beach there! The weather was perfect! What a good day in service. =D
