Day 116 (Friday 14/08/09, NJJ)
Drove to Radium Hot Springs. Spent an hour at the Hot Mineral Pool, Jay nearly fainted again. Drove to Kootenay National Park (Rockies). Stopped at Numa Falls. Drove again then stopped for a walk at Marble Canyon, part of the 12% of Kootenay National Park that was burnt in a 40 day fire in 2003. The re-growth is beautiful. From there to the town of Banff, in Banff National Park. Stopped at Bow Falls. Checked into Tunnel Mountain Village 1 campground and stopped to see the hoodoos along the way. Tent up and into Banff for the evening meal. Back at camp Jamie put his thermals on as it was 4º last night at the campsite.
