Before you get to read about our antics in Istanbul we would just like to say a big thank you to all of our family and friends following our travels via the blog.

Thank you for your emails texts and calls full of support. Thanks also for the comments via the blog... often harsh but funny! The messages have been a great encouragement to us. Do keep them coming!!

We have embarked on two previous adventures, a European adventure, that took us through 23 countries across Europe in our trusty Bongo, and a 6 month backpacking adventure around the world. This time we are retired so the World is our lobster! We both suffer from a 'wanderlust' alway's wondering what is over the next hill or around the next cove. We are writing this blog so we can keep in contact with our family and friends, to let them know what we are up to.... full info
