Hello you lot. I do hope you are all well. So...my time at the farm has come to an end. It wasn't the idle goat prodding I was expecting, instead I have spent the last two weeks building a house. The Lada Niva. A rugged little car. I drove it around a few times. It didn't have GPS controlled predicative air suspension or Internet Connected Multi Media User Interface or Brakes but it was very endearing. I named it "Little Mountain Goat". Ahhhhh

There was always something healthy and wholesome cooking. I described my time at the farm as a body boot camp.

Here is Buket negotiating with the local big boss man. The land she owned only had planning permission for farming, not building. He wanted paying. She didn't want to pay. They discussed it and came to a conclusion. Bosh, planning approved. Simples.

Here is Buket negotiating with a builder. She was also managing a much bigger project to build a milking parlour and a cheese making building. It seems Builders the world over always under price projects....

Why can't every Tuesday morning begin with a jolly good dance? If I ever return to the corporate world I might suggest it. "First item on the agenda is the introduction of additional HR policies in the new financial year......I believe John has a suggestion"

My favorite goat. I liked this one because it was a bit of an underdog. Wobbly ears and always getting butted away from the food. I took pity and gave it a bit of extra food on the side.

After two weeks of hard work I treated myself to a couple of nights in the chintzyest hotel in Ankara I could find.

I missed all that mud stomping so I decided to stomp my washing.

I used my time in Ankara to indulge in the things I would be lacking in the following weeks. I can't imagine there is much Sweet and Sour in Iran.
